Pepaw's RecipesGrilled Chicken Wash chicken, sprinkle with lemon pepper and Lawrey's Seasoning. Brush with Pepaw's Marinade, place in sealed container or ziplock bag, pouring enough marinade into container to coat chicken. Place in refrigerator overnight. While grilling, baste each piece with marinade several times. Ten minutes before removing from grill, baste with barbecue sauce if desired. Baby Back Ribs 2 to 4 racks of ribs Mix 1 cup of Pepaw's Marinade with 1 quart of 7-up, place ribs in shallow pan and pour mixture over, seal, and place in refrigerator overnight. Wrap ribs in heavy-duty foil and pour 1/2 cup of marinade over before sealing. Place over coals and cook with lid closed for 30 minutes. Remove ribs from foil and place on grill rack, basting with marinade as you cook 5 minutes on each side. If desired, you may also baste with barbecue sauce. |
